Directions from Granville

From Granville town centre you need to follow the signs to Avranches, taking the D973 main road.

The D973 is an unbelievably straight road so just keep going straight ahead and you will eventually come to a village called Sartilly. Keep going through the village or take the new ring-road if you prefer.

After Sartilly, continue straight on until you reach the main roundabout at Montviron called "La Butte es Gros" (Builder's merchants Guilloux on the right). Turn left at this roundabout onto the D41. Follow this road towards Les Chambres.

You will go over a level crossing and after about 3km you need to turn right on to the D231 signposted towards Lolif where you will also see the first sign for Chateau de la Baudonniere (If you get to the village of Les Chambres and the church you have missed the right hand turn)

Continue for 1.5km and after the entrance to La Baudonniere, which is the farm, you need to turn left into the Chateau drive at the huge pine trees. Follow the signs to the Chateau, driving slowly with great care.
